About Us

Born in Brooklyn. Baked with love.

From Adele's kitchen to yours.

Macalicious is the story of a baker who never really stopped baking, a family that kept cheering her on, and a community that turned one passion into something much bigger.

Family has always been part of the recipe.

A baker long before there was a brand

Adele has been the baker in the family for as long as anyone can remember. As a teenager, while most people were still figuring out their thing, Adele had already found hers: the joy of taking flour, sugar, patience, color, and care, and turning them into something people could not stop talking about.

By 18, she took that passion seriously enough to turn it into a business. She began baking and selling fresh French macarons directly to community members and small businesses throughout the Tristate area. The boxes were beautiful, the flavors were polished, and the response was immediate. People did not just want to buy the macarons. They wanted to know how Adele made them.

From fresh macarons to teaching the country

The more Adele baked, the more people asked to learn. So she started teaching in-person classes, walking bakers through the process step by step. The classes grew quickly because they were not stiff demonstrations. They felt like baking beside someone who truly wanted you to succeed.

Then the requests started coming from farther away. People around the country wanted to learn from Adele too. So Macalicious began hosting French macaron classes over Zoom. Before each class, Adele sent out premade kits with premeasured ingredients, so bakers nationwide could show up prepared, follow along, and experience the magic from their own kitchens.

The idea that became Macalicious DIY Kits

Those Zoom classes revealed something important: when the ingredients are measured, the tools are ready, and the instructions are calm and clear, ambitious baking suddenly feels possible.

That idea became the Macalicious DIY French Macaron Kit. It gave home bakers the ingredients, structure, and confidence to make something impressive without feeling lost halfway through. Today, that same mission continues with our newest Sourdough DIY Kit, built to help bakers turn a project that can feel intimidating into something guided, approachable, and deeply satisfying.

Prepped for success

Our kits are designed to remove the guesswork with measured ingredients, useful tools, and clear next steps.

Taught like Adele teaches

Every kit carries the same patient, encouraging style that made Adele's classes so loved.

Still a family story

Adele is, and always has been, a family girl. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her loving husband and their two children. Macalicious may have grown from fresh macarons, to classes, to nationwide kits, to app-guided baking projects, but the heart of it is still very simple: make something beautiful, share it generously, and help the next baker feel proud of what came out of their own oven.
