Refund policy

We want you to have a great experience with your Macalicious purchase. Eligible unopened and unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Because some Macalicious products contain food ingredients, opened food products or kits containing opened food ingredients cannot be returned for a standard refund for reasons of food safety. However, customers using our Bake Your Own Sourdough Bread Kit may be eligible for our Macalicious Baking Success Guarantee described below.

To request a return, contact us at info@macaliciousbaking.com before sending anything back. Items returned without first contacting us may not be accepted.

Returns for Unopened Products

Unopened and unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

For returns due to a change of mind, accidental purchase, or another reason not caused by Macalicious, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or with missing components, please contact us at info@macaliciousbaking.com within 7 days of delivery.

We will work with you to provide an appropriate replacement or refund. We may request photographs of the product, packaging, shipping damage, or other information needed to evaluate the issue.

When the problem is caused by shipping damage or an error on our part, you will not be responsible for return shipping costs.

Macalicious Baking Success Guarantee

Sourdough is a living process, and sometimes a bake does not go exactly as planned. Our goal is not simply to sell you a kit — we want to help you successfully make your own sourdough bread.

If you use your Macalicious Bake Your Own Sourdough Bread Kit, follow the provided instructions, and both of your included loaves do not turn out as expected, contact us at info@macaliciousbaking.com.

We will help you troubleshoot what happened and work with you to identify the most likely cause. We may ask for photographs of your starter, dough, or finished loaves, along with information about your process, timing, temperature, and results so that we can properly diagnose the issue.

Once we have worked through the issue with you, we will provide one appropriate replacement at no additional charge so you can try again. Depending on what went wrong, this may be a replacement ingredient refill bag, sourdough starter, or other appropriate component.

The Baking Success Guarantee includes one replacement support remedy per original kit/order.

This guarantee is intended to give you another opportunity to succeed after troubleshooting with us. It does not make opened food ingredients returnable and does not provide an automatic refund for an unsuccessful bake.

Final Sale Items

Items specifically marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The Macalicious Baking Success Guarantee may still apply to an eligible sourdough kit even if it was purchased during a promotion, unless the product was specifically sold as damaged, incomplete, or otherwise excluded from the guarantee at the time of purchase.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before fulfillment.

Once an order has been fulfilled or shipped, it can no longer be canceled and must instead follow the applicable return or support process described above.
